Does Love Really Cover Hate, Or is Hate the Great Cover Up?

cradle the world

It seems as if the world would like to haul God into court and debate His very Word. Breaking down God’s Word into nothing, many are now trying to tell us that God’s Word isn’t what we perceive it to be, and in turn they claim that their love will ultimately cover our hate.

REMINDER FROM GOD: Silent or hidden, I’m still ruling! Does anyone presume to tell Me what I’m doing wrong? Are they calling Me a sinner so they can be a saint? I’m in charge of all of this—I run this universe!

How long will everyone wallow in ignorance? How long will they feed their cynicism? How long will they refuse to learn? I’m ready to pour out My Spirit; as it is, I’ve called, but they’ve turned a deaf ear; I’ve reached out, but they’ve ignored Me.

The road of right-living people glow with light, but the road of wrongdoings gets darker and darker. Fools have short fuses and explode all too quickly; the prudent quietly shrug off insults. The good acquire a taste for helpful conversation; bullies push and shove their way through life. The stupid ridicule right and wrong; but a moral life is a favored life. There’s a way of life that looks harmless enough; look again—it leads straight to hell. Sure, those people appear to be having a good time, but all that laughter will end in heartbreak.

Everyone who wants to live a godly life in Me will be persecuted, while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of. Holy Scriptures came from My very breath. It is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.

{Job 34:30, 40:8, 41:11; Proverbs 1:22-24, 4:18-19, 12:16, 13:2, 14:9, 12-13; 2 Timothy 3:13-16}

NOTE TO SELF: Anyone living according to their own moral code finds unique ways to humiliate, mock, belittle, and shun not only those who believe in God’s Word, but God’s Word itself. That seems to be their only defense and proclamation. And as they insist that “love covers hate,” they have no clue that their own hate can’t be covered by our love or God’s when they refuse to see it or acknowledge it.

Our love apparently can’t cover the world’s hate. Or could it be that the world’s hate is merely the great cover up of something worse?

What hate are they trying to cover up and by whose love should cover it? That’s the real question. If my love doesn’t cover their hate for me, then what does that statement even mean if it’s only their faux love that covers our supposed hate? The kind of love the world is craving isn’t really love at all.

Their kind of love is consumed with vile hate and harsh delusions, and that is the love the world gives—not Christians! Psychologists call that “projection.” They accuse us of the very things they do. Hate is their great cover up. They’ve confused the two. Love is now hate; hate is now love.

The love we try to speak in is only heard through hateful ears. When they cry out and call us wrong, it’s called love. But when we show them God’s love, they call it hate.

Love could cover hate if hate allowed it. But hate is the great cover up.

MY PRAYER: Father, please cover us with Your eternal love. Keep us wise in this world that lacks wisdom and seeks to remain in ignorance and foolishness. Help us to always speak the truth in love and never back down from what Your Word says. Amen.
