A Transformed Woman

“Yet O, women…” Jeremiah 9:20
MY PRAYER: Lord Jesus, there is so much sufferings in the world today, but none worse than those of the women of Asia. They have no dignity, as it is ripped away from them on a daily basis by rape, violence, prostitution, and eventual suicide. When a woman’s husband dies, society accuses her, blames her, shames her, and reduces her to nothingness. She often finds herself isolated and hurting in ways women of America would never understand. To Asia, a woman is not human, not to be dignified in any manner. She is to be used as a mere sex toy or punching bag that can be thrown out to the dogs without notice. Each year, over 7000 vulnerable women are doused in kerosene and burned to death by their husbands. When she finds herself in need, no one helps. When she cries out, no one hears. When she’s ready to take her life, no one stops her. God, please help these women of Asia. Please pour into our hearts a desire to stop this demeaning behavior and attitude towards these beautiful women. Send someone to help, O Lord. Send someone to help…

REMINDER FROM GOD: I will create a new thing in the land: A transformed woman will embrace Me, their transforming God, and she will encompass a man. If I, then, your Teacher and Lord, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example that you should do as I have done. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them. [Through you] I will turn their mourning to joy, will comfort them, and make them rejoice rather than sorrow. Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears; for your work shall be rewarded. Yet, O women, hear My Word and listen; teach your daughters wailing. Let not the mighty man glory in his might [anymore]. I AM the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. The customs of the peoples are futile. I AM their strong Redeemer. Deliver those who are drawn toward death, and hold back those stumbling to the slaughter. When I set up the sheep on My right hand, and the goats on the left, [here is how I will know who belongs where]: For when I was hungry, you gave Me food; when I was thirsty, you gave Me drink. I was a stranger and you took Me in. I was naked and you clothed Me. I was sick and you visited Me. I was in prison and you came to Me. Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these [women], you did it to Me. Send help to those in need. If you say, “Surely we did not know this,” remember that I AM the One who weighs the heart, keeps your soul, and renders each person according to their deeds. Each day I load you with benefits to be the light of the world.

{Jeremiah 31:22b MSG/NKJV; John 13:14-17; Jeremiah 31:13, 16, 9:20, 24, 10:3; Proverbs 23:11, 24:11; Matthew 25:31-40; Philippians 4:16; Proverbs 24:12; Psalm 68:19; Matthew 5:14;}

NOTE TO SELF: God has not created the suffering in the world; in fact, He tells us quite clearly in Romans 1:28-32 that all hell is breaking loose and evil is running rampant because no one bothers to acknowledge God anymore. But we are different. We have been saved and made new creations. We have been taught to be like Jesus, serving others in every way possible. We are not to overlook those in need and suffering greatly at the hands of those with only wickedness in their hearts. So when I ask God, “Send someone to help them,” He responds by letting me know that as His follower, I am called to help. I am the one who can change the world, one woman, one child, one family at a time.

TO MY FAITHFUL READERS: I was incredibly proud of all of you yesterday when I was informed by Gospel for Asia that fourteen children have been sponsored through my blog. In two short months, fourteen children are now eating, are now receiving clean water, are now receiving the help they so desperately need. When you sponsor a child, or sponsor a woman, you are quite literally saving a family. YOU have helped fourteen children stay with their family instead of being forced into slavery or prostitution. The mother of that child does not need to sell her child for food that will only last two or three days. With your help, those families will know the love of Christ and know true deliverance, salvation, and hope.

I was moved to tears this morning when God revealed to me the heart of my readers. I was overcome with a sense of humble pride and joy. I had asked God a few days prior to learning about this to show me a sign that this blog was touching lives, and He was faithful to answer.
For those of you who feel moved but have yet to move, this may be the sign you’ve been asking for.
Yet here we are again. For those of you sponsoring a child through the Bridge of Hope at Gospel for Asia, may God bless you a thousand times over! For those of you who feel moved but have yet to move, this may be the sign you’ve been asking for. You can help a desperate woman in need. You can help her regain confidence, strength and honor again. You can bring hope into her life. You can help her feed her children by giving her the tools she needs to provide for her family. If you are unsure of where your money will go once it’s sent, you can be absolutely confident that 100% of your money is sent out into the field of your choice.

{I very rarely get preachy about giving, because I myself lack so much to give; but this is a cause that runs deep within my soul. We all know that the heart of a family begins with a mother. God made it that way by giving her the power of bringing life into the world (Genesis 3:16). Does your heart ache for women and children? Have you often wondered how you can help change the world? Are you eager to be the light of the world that can’t be snuffed out? Explore Gospel for Asia and see where God leads you.}

  1. Oh Praise God for those who have already gave. I plan also to give. As i was once an abused wife who had to seek help. In America founded as a Christian Nation, we have Organizations set up for that. But the poor ladies and children of Asia do not. Its up to us who care to give whatever amount that we can. Praises to people who care to share. God's Blessings be yours :) 'The Lord God is Father to Orphans and widows'.

I want to hear from you! Thank you so much for responding to my post.
